Mr. Garvida studied law  and undergraduate studies at the University of the Philippines, in Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines. He also received his Law Clerk Diploma (with Honours) from Seneca College in Toronto, Ontario and his Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.

 

He was formerly an Immigration and Refugee Law Consultant and 

has also worked for the following agencies:

Crown Attorney’s Office, Ministry of the Attorney General (Ontario)

Ottawa Court House, Milton and Orangeville Courthouse

George's practice under Canadian and Philippine jurisdictions also includes Family Law, Commercial and Corporate Law; he is a Legal and Business Consultant of several businesses in Toronto, Ontario and the  Philippines.  He is an Election Law Practitioner (Local and National Elections in the Philippines) and was a former Government Corporate Attorney, Prosecutor and/or Hearing Officer, OGCC (Department of Justice, Philippines) for the following Corporations:

As well, he was also student leader in UP, and was a university councillor of UP Diliman University Student Council, 1989-90.
